Political Candidates
Some people reach the point where they come to formulate one of those burning questions, ” Do political candidates do what they say they are going to do?” It is already known that the political candidates speak with much conviction, and give a detailed list of what it is that they are going to do for the voting public if elected, but is this really an accurate statement? Many have come to wonder. The reason why people have come to question the political candidates to begin with is due to the fact that there is doubt in their mind based on what they have witnessed in the past. At some point in every one’s political voting history, they come to reach a point, if they have yet to do so already, where they believed in a candidate, supported them throughout the bulk of the entire election, then come to learn that the political candidate has done very little, if at all, of what he or she stated he or she was going to do, if elected. For some people, if this happens the first time, it is just a matter of what ineffective person, but if it happens an additional time, then they tend to generalize the realm of politics. They feel that if one or more candidates has done this in the world of politics, then more than likely, this cycle will repeat, next time around.
There are some people who are very genuine about their love politics- and they do not have to be running to be their town’s local mayor in order to feel as such. One of the key reasons for the passion that they are filled with is due to the fact that they know that politics comes to affect the scope of their lives, from the everyday living quality, to their future plans. With this being said, it is important for them to be able to actively support the political candidate who best speaks to both their immediate and future needs. They have so much riding on this particular political candidate winning the election, that their passion overwhelms them during the course of the entire election. They find themselves watching every political move that they take and cheering them on. They also look to the other candidates who are running in order to study the competition. Their emotions really take a spin when it is time to vote. Although this is one of the most exciting components of politics to many, it is also one of the scariest aspects to those exact same people. Whether their candidate wins or not, since they were so involved with the political election, they have come to know what each of the candidates stand for. They know their messages, and they remember the way that they stated they would go about seeing that they are fulfilled. And whoever so wins the political election, they expect for them to carry out their time in office as such. But sometimes that is not the case…
The people come to find that for whatever reason, the candidate does not do what it is that he or she has stated that he or she was going to do. One of the reasons as to why they do not make good on their actions is simply because the task was a lot more difficult than they had imagined. Another reason as to why these political candidates are not able to do what it is that they say they are going to do is because there is a lot of red tape that they were not aware of. Most times, they know that the promises that they make are not going to be the easiest to fulfill- that is the nature of politics- but they come to run into additional obstacles that they were completely unprepared for. Then there are some who enter the world of politics in order to fulfill a specific office, then come to find that there are other issues that they have to take to before they focus on the particular issues that were at the heart of their platform. This sometimes discourages people because they are looking for change sooner rather than later, and when it does not come immediately, their opinion of the candidate, or politics in general, becomes jaded.
Then there are those candidates who do exactly what it is that they say that they are going to do if elected into office. They may come to reach a point where they have a different way of accomplishing this goal than the people could have imagined, but they are still able to see that goal to its completion. There may even be points during the course of working at the goal that the people completely disfavor the way in which they are choosing to go about the issue, but then in the end, they realize that the political candidate had to sacrifice this action, because he or she knew that it would lead to the ultimate resolve for the people in the end. Then there are those candidates within the world of politics who are elected, and show up on the job every day to do more. Not only are they looking to make good on what was previously stated during the course of their political campaign, but there are also some additional things that they set out to do for the people so that they are able to lead the best life that they deserve. This is the type of political candidate that is the most highly respected in the end. The political candidate just does not talk in slogans, but he or she takes on the duty to put those words into action.
