The Senate

People tend to have different levels of respect for the US Senate. People may not always have the most favorable opinions of what the Senate does from time to time, but people tend to support the work that they perform on a whole. One of the things that they most respect about the US Senate is that the Senate has the ability to evoke such a positive change to the entire nation. They like the fact that there is a governmental force that can execute when it is time to set the bar for the way that things should go in the United States. They respect the fact that the Senate is able to make those necessary changes so that the citizens can see a better life. Although the current state of things are not perfect in its entirety, there have certainly been some dramatic strides in the right and proper direction that the people have come to attribute to past and current Presidents, as well as the United States Senate.

Another aspect that the people have come to respect about the United States Senate is the fact that members of the Senate serve to directly reflect what the people would like to have played out. The members of the Senate will go to the full extent to make sure that the voices of the people are heard. By them being voted into office, there is a certain level of responsibility that they must uphold, that many of the members of the US Senate are actually able to live up to. Although they may not agree with every direction that the people want to see the country go, they are to maintain the ability to put that disposition into perspective when presented with those trying issues.

The US Senate is respected by those who are content with the new laws that are being passed. Since the Senate plays one of the most poignant roles at writing the nation’s legislation, people will often say that they are pleased with the fact that the laws are passed with this type of process. They are utterly pleased with the fact that we do not live within the confines of a dictatorship. They appreciate the fact that there is an open forum for which these potential laws may be discussed before they are passed or passed on. They like the fact that members of the Senate will have their voices heard, therefore the voices of the people heard, before the final decisions are made that will ultimately serve to affect us all. People are genuinely happy with this component of the “American Way”.
